Common questions
Permanent make up is a micro pigmentation, semi permanent cosmetic procedure. The main difference between the two procedures is the depth of the pigment and the lasting time of the pigment.
That depends on each person. Some people have different levels of tolerance — numbing cream will be used making this procedure more comfortable.
On average permanent make up can last one to three years. It depends on skin type, age, and pigment color. The darker the pigment, the longer it will last, taking longer to fade.
The procedure is split into two appointments — the initial application and procedure day, then the touch up 4 to 5 weeks after. The first session for brows is 2 ½ to 3 hours, and the touch up for brows is 1 to 1 ½ hours. The first session for lip blushing is 2 ½ to 3 hours, and the follow-up touch up is 1 ½ hours.
PMU usually takes approximately four weeks to heal. Immediately after the procedure brows will appear darker and fade, and then go to the chosen color; lips will appear brighter. The skin will dry and flake, and then the color will lighten and soften. Both procedures will lighten approximately 30% after healing.
It eliminates the need for daily brow shaping and shading — you wake up with gorgeous, shaped, and colored brows, making it very low maintenance. Your unique facial features and mapping to your liking ensure complementary results.
This procedure brings the look of healthy, natural blush of color to the lips. A delicate outline with a subtle lip stain enhances your own beautiful lip shape. It can also be done more saturated to have the lipstick effect.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours and caffeine for at least four hours.
- Avoid waxing, threading, or tinting for at least a week before.
- No Botox or chemical peels for four weeks prior.
- If you’re prone to cold sores and you’re getting lip blushing, ask your doctor about an antiviral like Valtrex to prevent an outbreak after the procedure. This should be taken a couple days ahead of time, the day of, and the day after.

For lip procedures: Apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment for 2 to 14 days, twice daily. Avoid touching, picking, and rubbing. Keep your lips dry, avoid sun exposure, hot liquids, and refrain from using makeup near your lips for at least a week. Healing takes a couple weeks, so be patient for the final color to appear.

PMU results are not guaranteed. It can be a multi-step process, and additional sessions may be required to be completed within an eight-week timeframe. The highest quality service and products will be used. Each client heals differently, which can lead to varied results.
Yes. The last step before securing a spot is a $50 deposit. This deposit is fully applied to the final cost once you attend. It ensures that you show up and respect each other’s time. An invoice will be sent to you, which can be paid by credit card or debit online.
